Production delays cause a film cast and crew to become trapped at a seaside Spanish hotel, waiting first for the star (Eddie Constantine) to arrive and then for the director (Lou Castel) to be properly inspired. A vicious and sardonic look at the filmmaking process, the film was inspired by Fassbinder’s experiences making Whity the same year.
