Founded in 2007, the Cinema Eye Honors is an annual award that recognizes exemplary craft and innovation in nonfiction film. Films are selected by a committee of international film festival programmers. Many of the world’s leading documentary filmmakers will be present for this exciting awards ceremony. Nominees for best film are: The Oath, Marwencol, Last Train Home, Exit Through the Gift Shop, and Armadillo. Grey Gardens will receive the Legacy Award.
