An inquisitive girl discovers a portal to a parallel universe that isn’t as perfect as it seems. This whimsical coming-of-age tale, based on the beloved children’s novel by Neil Gaiman, marries old-school stop-motion puppetry with a truly expressive use of digital 3-D.  Recommended for ages 9 and up.
