The Museum’s new state-of-the-art main theater is equipped to show films in many film and video formats, including 3-D, presented in the high-quality Dolby Digital 3-D system. Coraline is the most evocative, atmospheric 3-D family film to date, this stop-motion animated feature is an adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s book about a bored and neglected girl who discovers a door to an alternative version of her life. Rated PG.
Museum admission free on January 17. Ticket price for the 3-D screening is $10 per person. A photo ID is required as a deposit for the 3-D glasses.
Dolby Digital 3-D screenings at Museum of the Moving Image are made possible by a generous gift from Dolby Laboratories.
