Shantell Martin is a VJ and illustrator who has performed and exhibited extensively in Tokyo, London, and across the United States. In this 90-minute workshop, Martin provides participants with an inside look at the technology and aesthetics of live-painting software. Children will create live digital drawings projected onto a screen in real time. In the process, they will learn to harness their intuitive creativity using technology and methods developed for and by artists. They will also be inspired by music and by other participants. 90 mins. $12 materials fee ($5 for Red Carpet Kids members), not including Museum admission.
