Free Game Design Jam for Teens, Featuring Beta the Game

Ongoing

Kick off the new school year by learning an awesome new game design tool. Beta is an open game world that allows players to easily play, create and share games. In this special design jam, you’ll have the chance to work with indie game designer Errol King, learn about his process of creating Beta, and then try if for yourself. You’ll learn how to use code to manipulate the world’s objects and properties using a simple programming language called CodePOP.

RSVP in advance to guarantee a spot; walk-ins will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. This is a teen-only event—no parents, teachers, or group leaders, please! This event is completely free, and open to teens ages fourteen and up. No previous experience is required. Snacks will be served!
