Ronald Reagan stars alongside the future Nancy Reagan in this World War II drama, in which he plays a stoic commander who is forced to leave his crew behind and retrieve a Japanese mine. Nancy Davis stars as Nurse Lieutenant Helen Blair, Commander Casey Abbott’s devoted love interest.
