There are daily screenings of episodes of classic movie serials in Tut’s Fever Movie Palace, an artwork by Red Grooms and Lysiane Luong that pays homage to the movie palace. 


Jungle Girl

Dir. William Witney, Jon English.  1941, 15 episodes, approx. 20 mins per episode. With Frances Gifford, Tom Neal, Trevor Bardette, Gerald Mohr. Republic Pictures. Jungle Girl is considered the best jungle serial ever made, and is the first sound serial with an actress as the main character. Frances Gifford plays the heroine, with Tom Neal as the male hero and Trevor Bardette and Gerald Mohr as the villains. The serial is filled with exciting stunts, including vine-swinging, cliff-diving, lion-wrestling, and battles with quicksand and poison gas.
