Nathan the Wise (Nathan der Weise)

Sunday, Feb 6, 2011

Nathan the Wise was one of the most acclaimed German films of the 1920s, a drama set in twelfth-century Jerusalem depicting the conflict between Christians, Muslims, and Jews. Long considered lost, it was rediscovered recently in a Moscow film vault.
