A selected group of contemporary film writers discuss the state of cinema and criticism in this roundtable discussion. Panelists include Eric Hynes (Slate, Time Out New York, Village Voice), Kent Jones (New York Film Festival director and Film Comment editor-at-large), Michael Koresky (Reverse Shot co-founder, Criterion Collection staff writer), Andrew Tracy (Cinema Scope managing editor, publications manager of Toronto’s TIFF Cinematheque), and Genevieve Yue (Film Comment, Film Quarterly, co-editor of Discourse: Journal for Theoretical Studies in Media and Culture).
