Scenes from the City: Women in Film and Television explores the contributions of some of these individuals, including: Desiree Gruber, producer for Project Runway; Brooke Kennedy, executive producer for The Good Wife; Sheila Nevins, president of HBO Documentary Films; and Dee Rees, the writer and director of Pariah. The panelists will share insights into their careers and how they got to be where they are today and discuss why they love working in New York City. The conversation will be moderated by Katherine Oliver, Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment.
