EVENT, SCREENING

Spectrum Reverse Spectrum

Ongoing

Introduced by Margaret Honda

Dir. Margaret Honda, U.S., 2014, 21 mins. 70mm.
Spectrum Reverse Spectrum is a camera-less film made by exposing a single roll of 70mm print stock to precisely calibrated colored light in a contact film printer. The work presents a field of uniform color that fills the screen, gradually moving through the visible light spectrum from violet to red, then back to violet. The colors’ relative densities and durations follow those in the spectrum itself. Margaret Honda’s latest film Color Correction screens earlier in the day in First Look.

Free admission. Tickets will be given out on the day of the screening on a first-come, first-served basis.
Members (Film Lover level and above) may reserve tickets by emailing [email protected].
