So goes the relationship of a blue-collar couple on the brink of divorce because the husband cannot control his violence. It turns out that their son cannot control himself either, as he rules over a group of children at the summer campsite. When he meets a girl in pain because her father has abandoned her, they build a bond and an emotional fortress, pretending that nothing can ever enter their world.
