There are daily screenings of episodes of classic movie serials in Tut’s Fever Movie Palace, an artwork by Red Grooms and Lysiane Luong that pays homage to the movie palace.



Superman
 

Dir. Spencer Gordon Bennet, Thomas Carr. 1948, approx. 15 mins per episode. With Kirk Alyn, Noel Neill, Carol Forman. Kirk Alyn became the first actor to portray Superman on screen in this successful, action-packed serial. Due to budgetary constraints, all of Superman’s flying sequences were animated. Still, a sequel followed in 1950, and the television series starring George Reeves two years later.
