The Empire Strikes Back was shooting across the street at Elstree Studios in the UK when Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Peter Mayhew reprised their Star Wars characters on The Muppet Show. Jim Henson, a fan of Disneyland, flew Disney legend Wally Boag, star of Frontierland’s The Golden Horseshoe Revue, to London for an appearance. Eventually, the Muppets and the Star Wars characters would also make their home at the Disney theme parks.
