EVENT

The Soundtrack Series

Ongoing

Hosted by Dana Rossi

The Soundtrack Series is a live show and podcast that celebrates music in our everyday lives—the hilarious or heartbreaking stories and memories we forever tie to certain songs. In June, The Soundtrack Series presented a special show at the Museum in conjunction with the exhibition Spectacle: The Music Video, where writers and performers told personal stories about music videos—how one video made a mark on their lives. The Soundtrack Series will return on Friday, October 18 to share more stories about videos, and hold a magnifying glass up to the influence that videos have had on our culture by zeroing in on the personal, specific ways that they have mattered to us.

Performers:

Mark Douglas is the creator of the web series The Key of Awesome.

Maggie Serota is a co host of the Low Times Podcast.

Jeff Woodton is a longtime senior producer at MTV.

R. Eric Thomas is a storyteller and host of Philadelphia’s First Person Arts.

Bob Khosravi is comic featured in the San Francisco International Comedy Contest.

Micaela Blei is a storyteller and repeated MothSlam champion.
