Way Out West

Saturday, Jan 29, 2011

Dir. James W. Horne. 1937, 65 mins. This Western spoof, in which Laurel and Hardy play city slickers sent to Brushwood Gulch to deliver a deed to a mine, is one of their best feature films. The unforgettable soft-shoe dance is one of their most delightful moments.

Preserved by UCLA Film & Television Archive with funding provided by The Film Foundation.

Free with museum admission.
