This program of his acclaimed shorts traces the artistic evolution of this former critic and programmer and demonstrates his versatility. The films here span a wide range of genres, reworking and combining the conventions of horror, romance, and science fiction to startling effect. Featuring The Little Cotton Girl (2002, 6 mins.
