Dir. Prano Bailey-Bond. 2021, 84 mins. DCP. With Niamh Algar, Nicholas Burns, Vincent Franklin. Fiction and reality blur when a British film censor (Niamh Algar) attempts to solve the mystery of her sister’s disappearance after viewing a “video nasty” that seems strangely familiar. This eerie, atmospheric slow-burn was a standout 2021 genre film, playing out in gory fashion that would have made it public enemy #1 at the time it’s set.

Tickets: $15 / $11 senior and students / $9 youth (ages 3–17) / discounted for MoMI members ($7–$11).
