This workshop led by film curator Lourdes Gil Alvaradejo is open to anyone interested in curatorial film practice and writing on Queer identities from Latin America. Learn about icons and representations of LGBTQ+ characters from Mexican mainstream media, as well as from documentary film, and how internet fandom has shifted the way we consume Queer content. Taking a close look at Queer representation, difference, and visibility through the moving image, the workshop includes writing exercises on curatorial narrative and critique.
