Moving Body—Moving Image

This program gives voice to social justice themes in the hybrid form of filmmaking, also called ScreenDance. This 2019 program is an encore screening of selected films from the inaugural one-day Moving Body—Moving Image festival last year at Barnard College. The films focuses on the representation of the Moving Brown Body on screen and will be followed by a discussion with program creator and curator Gabri Christa, dancer, choreographer, filmmaker, and assistant professor of professional practice at Barnard College. Selected films (approx. 60 mins.):
