Shock Waves

Saturday, Sep 10 at 3:00 pm

Location: Bartos Screening Room

Dir. Ken Wiederhorn. 1977, 86 mins. 35mm (faded). With Peter Cushing, John Carradine, Brooke Adams. A tourist boat helmed by a surly captain (Carradine) finds itself mired in a mysterious orange fog. Their boat damaged, the tourists and crew make for a nearby island where they run afoul of aquatic Nazi zombies, primed to kill with abandon. A master class in atmosphere, the film nods to post-World War II zombie cinema and features several satisfyingly chilling chase sequences.

Tickets: $15 / $11 senior and students / $9 youth (ages 3–17) / Free or discounted for MoMI members ($11). Order tickets. Please pick up tickets at the Museum’s admissions desk upon arrival. All seating is general admission. Review safety protocols before your visit.

Ticketholders may add on a visit to the Living with the Walking Dead exhibition for $10.
