Free admission. Open to ages 21+ only; IDs will be checked. Advance reservation required (no one will be admitted at the door without a reservation).

The evening’s program includes:

“Wanderlust West.” In this “live documentary” performance, Laura Ortman’s violin improvisations will accompany Martha Colburn’s triple-projector piece, expanding on her 2017 film Western Wild…how I found wanderlust and met Old Shatterhand. Performance at 9:45 p.m. in Video Screening Amphitheater.

Dirtscraper. New York premiere. Peter Burr’s large-scale single-channel computer simulation imagines an underground structure whose ‘smart architecture’ is overseen by artificial intelligences. This 90-minute work will loop continuously in the Redstone Theater.

“Interference AV.” Bringing together the respective practices of New York-based artists Peter Burr and Laura Ortman (White Mountain Apache), this audio-visual performance is a collaboration unfolding in real time. Combining Burr’s complex, mutating digital imagery with Ortman’s vibrant amplified violin sounds, Interference AV creates an immersive and singular experience, revealing crossover fascinations with the possibilities of utopia and a desire to create new ambient environments. Performance at 10:30 p.m. in the Digital Learning Suite.

Music videos selected by The Psychedelic Film and Music Festival will loop continuously in the Bartos Screening Room.

DJ Heathered Pearls will play tunes in between performances in the Digital Learning Suite.
