Saturday, Jul 2 at 1:00 pm

Location: Redstone Theater

Introduced by Craig Shemin, President of the Jim Henson Legacy, with special guest puppet designer and builder Bonnie Erickson (Saturday only)

An adaptation of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, with a change in locale from Germany to Louisiana, the special features Kermit the Frog as narrator, and a musical score by Jack Elliott with book and lyrics by longtime Muppets writer Jerry Juhl. In addition, the program will include clips from other Henson versions of classic fairy tales. Bonnie Erickson, who designed and built puppets for The Muppet Musicians of Bremen, will be in attendance (for the Saturday, July 2 show only). Program length: Approx 80 minutes.

Tickets: $15 / $11 senior and students / $9 youth (ages 3–17) / Free or discounted ($11) for MoMI members. Order online. Please pick up tickets at the Museum’s admissions desk upon arrival. All seating is general admission. Review safety protocols before your visit.
