Fantastic Voyage and Representing COVID-19

On June 25, 2020, Museum of the Moving Image’s Science on Screen series presented a live online event featuring CDC medical illustrator Alissa Eckert, the person responsible for creating the image of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19, as well as science and technology scholar and author David Serlin (Imagining Illness: Public Health and Visual Culture). Moderated by Sonia Epstein, Curator of Science on Screen.
