Korean Cinema Showcase (The Faces of Choi Min-shik)

May 20 — Jul 1, 2012

The Faces of Choi Min-shik

The great Korean actor Choi Min-shik made a strong impression last year as the sadistic murderer at the center of I Saw The Devil. Choi perfected a brutally haunting screen persona in the 2003 blockbuster Oldboy, but he is a versatile performer known for his work in drama, comedy, and romance, on the big and small screens. These three films showcase Choi’s range and demonstrate why he is one of South Korea’s most treasured performers.
