Director Alexander Payne’s new film The Descendants affirms his status as one of the most incisive and sensitive chroniclers of American life. He focuses on the complex inner lives of seemingly “normal” characters, depicting their stories with a unique blend of comedy and compassion. Payne will be present for an exclusive Museum members screening of The Descendants. All other screenings are open to the public.
