Theorizing the Web 2020

Jul 16 — Dec 31, 2020

Museum of the Moving Image has been collaborating with the inter- and non-disciplinary conference Theorizing the Web since 2016 on recurring events that bring together scholars, journalists, artists, activists, and technology practitioners to think conceptually and critically about the relationships between society and the web. This new series of virtual events highlights critical perspectives on timely issues at the intersection of tech and media, such as the surveillance of Black lives, living in an environment mediated by advertising, facial recognition bias, and more.

Check back biweekly for the announcement of new online events.
