MOVING IMAGE AWARDS HONORING MARRIAGE STORY

Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Museum of the Moving Image

As anyone following Noah Baumbach’s career over the past 25 years has come to expect, Marriage Story is both hilarious and heartbreaking and also ingeniously and humanely crafted and shaped. The film has the dramatic and psychological sharpness of Ingmar Bergman and yet, from the first frame to the last, it is a singular work. On December 10, the Museum will honor Noah Baumbach and his critically acclaimed new film starring Scarlett Johansson, Adam Driver, and Laura Dern with a Moving Image Award. This gala benefit event will take place at the Museum’s stunning facility in Astoria, Queens.
