A one-of-a-kind destination for audiences of all ages and interests, Museum of the Moving Image is the country’s only museum dedicated to the art, history, technique, and technology of the moving image in all its forms. Embracing a wide range of subjects, MoMI explores every phase of the production, promotion, and exhibition of moving images. It offers an engaging, highly interactive core exhibition, programs of contemporary and classic films from around the world, discussions with leading figures in film and television, a unique collection, inspiring educational programs for learners of all ages, stimulating changing exhibitions, and groundbreaking online projects.

Purchase tickets in advance online to save time at the admissions desk. All Museum members receive free gallery admission, and free or discounted tickets to screenings and events.
SCREENINGS & EVENTS
Tickets are required for each individual screening. Unless otherwise noted, prices for most screenings and events are noted below.
Ticket holders may add on same-day gallery admission ($5). Some screenings (e.g., family programs) include same-day gallery admission and are noted as such.
All Museum members receive free unlimited gallery admission (excludes special exhibitions) and free or discounted tickets to screenings and events. Learn more here.

The Museum is committed to making its facility accessible to all visitors. All of our workshops and school programs are adaptable for visitors with special needs.
