Moving Image Café

Located on the main floor of the Museum, the Moving Image Café overlooks the George S. Kaufman Courtyard. The Moving Image Café is a pleasant place to have a quick lunch or a relaxing cappuccino before attending a film screening or after visiting the Museum galleries.

Our assortment of light-fare options includes ham and Swiss on a potato torpedo, roast turkey on semolina raisin and fennel bread, a brie baguettine and an all-natural PB&J- all provided by Amy’s Bread. We offer a wide selection of baked goods: no-nut brownies, berry scones and cupcakes. Try a Lavazza espresso accompanied by a chocolate orange cardamom shortbread baked by Whimsy and Spice or a sweet treat from The Baking Bean; both are local bakeries. The Moving Image Café comfortably seats over thirty-five people in a light-filled, contemporary setting enhanced by the Museum’s tree-lined outdoor courtyard. The Moving Image Café also serves as a venue for performances, presentations and other special events. For rental information, click here.
